Various Bits and Pieces

Ben Dunn, the artist who is working with me on To the Last Man, now has a sketchblog up. There’s some fun stuff over there (especially the living cemetery). Go check it out.

Might be a bit hasty on this one, but I think the first issue of Cold is going to be in good enough shape by July to start looking for artists at San Diego.

Speaking of San Diego, it’s that time of year when I get really excited about San Diego and the comic-con. I didn’t get to go last year, and I was in a funk all weekend because I really wanted to be there. San Diego just breeds interesting memories, like two years ago when I was nearly run over by fanboys because I didn’t realize Halle Berry was walking behind me, or when I tried to push my way through a crowded aisle only to find myself face-to-face with Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan.

With any luck, I’ll have a good comic-con this year. I’ll sell To the Last Man and find a great artist for Cold. Maybe I’ll get to hang out with Tony Moore a little bit. Hell, if he brings out Kara, I’ll get to see her for the first time in eight years or so.
