What A Week
Posted on June 3, 2005
I am so glad this week is over. There’s been sickness, worry, and other things not worth mentioning. On the plus side, the car got paid off. On the minus side, I spent half of the week sneezing and coughing up various forms of sputum.
Not fun.
But now the weekend is here. Tonight, I’m heading out to gaming with Randy, Chris, Dave, Jim, and Ben. Tomorrow, I’ll start writing my next big project (prose-wise). Sunday, I’ll probably sit around all day watching wrestling. Who knows?
I’ll probably be back later with something of substance. Until then, go read Girls with Slingshots and A Softer World.

As of 8:40AM today, I officially own my car. It cannot be taken away from me. Huzzah! My credit rating just went up!

Writing Updates
Posted on June 2, 2005
Forgot to mention that I finished the rough draft if Cold’s first issue on Tuesday. I took the weekend off to enjoy my vacation, so… Tuesday.
Now comes lots of refining. I like to let stuff sit for a few days so I can look at it fresh, but I can use that time to work on the pitch I’ll be moving around San Diego with Ben Dunn. I’ve already gone over it something close to a thousand times, but a thousand and one might be just what it needs.
In other news, there’s a story (prose this time) that’s been burning in my skull for a some time now, just dying to get written. I’ll probably start that tonight.

Still Coughing
Posted on June 1, 2005
I’ve been sleeping in the guestroom for the last week. I do that so Shawna can get a good night’s sleep whil I hack my lungs out all night. I miss her, though. I fell asleep last night with my hand against the wall the two bedrooms share. I felt like a convict trying to touch somebody through visitation glass.
