Dexter Wilson’s First Day

Posted on January 3, 2006

“Dexter Wilson’s First Day” just went live at The Late Late Show. Go check it out. It’s in the stories section, and it sports the best illustration I’ve seen given to one of my short stories thus far. “Dexter” is my first stab at the Cthulhu Mythos. I’m not going to go so far as to say it’s a new take or even a moderately original one. That would be silly. I just do what I do.

Found out a few days before it was announced that Randy Lander is retiring from the comic reviewing game. While it does sadden me a bit (there’s now no one I can trust for comics reviews), I can fully understand it. Randy’s been reviewing 10-15 comics a week for almost ten years. I only reviewed two restaurants before running out of ways to say “Tastes good.”

A salute to Mr. Lander. You’ve just made the Bendis Board a very happy place.
